Here is one of my Haemanthus pubescens in flower. The second photo is the bulb. They have the same growing cycle as I commented in the Brunsvigia post.

The flower never opened as far as yours, but maybe a difference in subspecies type?

I grow them in full sun all day like in their habitat.
