 Post subject: cucumber salad

slice a cucumber or two (however thick/thin you prefer) and put into a bowl. sprinkle a liberal amount of garlic powder (plain garlic, no salt) and add in some dillweed and then put in a couple tablespoons of mayo (real not dressing) and mix well. chill for about an hour - mixing again about half way through and then taste and, if needed, add more garlic powder and dill weed.

it's ready to eat in about an hour. depends on how many/size of the cukes...more in the bowl, more time in the fridge.

you can also add in some sliced onion...vidalia's go really well.

I use the garlic powder NOT the Garlic salt too.

Well in a couple of days I'm going to have at least 1 dozen cukes. I'm thinking of pickling some. If I don't have too many I'm not going to go through the bath, I'll just store them in fridge and eat. It not worth it going thru the bath to seal if you don't have many. I'm thinking of making bread and butter pickles.
