We,, every year I try to take good pics of this amazing species, but sometimes I think it is just as hard to take pictures of as it is to grow!! Here are my efforts for this year:

I have perhaps 10 of these flowering out back right now, but this one is my favorite in terms of the 'Cobra' look to the spathe :D Dan

It's absolutely stunning.

How tall? Spathe?? Foliage??

I frequent the wrong garden centers.

Hi Al, Total plant typically 18 inches or so tall....the spathe can be as much as 8 inches across....most of mine top out at around 5 inches across the top...the total spathe hight is maybe 6 inches max.

I import all of my Arisaema...I've never bought one from a place in the U.S. that I can remember anyway....I used to sell them by the hundreds or thousands but decided I had better things to do with my time so quit with the hassles :D Dan

Dan, I appreciate your rapid response to my questions. I cannot think of words to describe how lovely I find your plant.

I'm new to this genus and find it's members fascinating.

Interesting, you've never purchased these from a US source and I've never purchased plants from outside our country. (Before the recent difficulties with import/export, I have traded countless C&S plants and seeds, just never purchased.) I sure do understand what a pita operating a mail order plant business must be.

Enjoy your lovely plants and the remains of the Spring season

Al
