Poppy and Lily aka "the girls" have never been properly intoduced to TGF. Today I took a few shots of them. The are litter sisters, Papillons (tall ones at 13 pounds). I February they will be 9 and have been a wonderful addition to our family since only a few months old.
Lily is the Alpha and can be a real bi^#h at times but she worships me and unless I'm not home will always be withing 4 feet of me.
They both enjoy modeling for the camera( for a cookie of course)
Lily,

Poppy is an Alpha minor so you can imagine the the excitement that brings if one or the others "space" is not observed. Poppy is more kick back and she likes to sleep longer than the rest of us:

But if a critter trespasses on her yard it had better be fast

Wonderful dogs but perhaps a bit too smart. Dogs that think for themselves can be ahhhh,
creative.
Enjoy,
AZED

Awww the girls are adorable as always. Glad to see them formally introduced.

BTW look closely at Lilly's 1st picture. You might want to do a little photoshopping on that tag

No problem Ed  I just happened to notice it and thought you might not want a phone # out there for the world to see. Nice job on the tag alteration!

A happy looking pair Ed.

Life, at least to me, would be much more boring without a couple 4 legged friends in the mix.

Randy,
Oh YEA!

luv,
Spoiled? Heck no these are working dogs. They work very hard to train Linda and me. Gotta go it's Poppy's back massage time and she gets soooo grumpy if I'm late.

Lovely to meet the Girls, Poppy & Lily, Ed! :D Did the tag say "The Boss" on it before your Photoshopping? That's cute!

In weight, they're about what George, our cat, weighs. In looks, they seem like miniature versions of my Woody (Border Collie). Both so sweet!

Image

For Woody, he only plays dead doggie if you make the noise of a gunshot & point your finger as if shooting. But the tail is still wagging, so we say he's a "happy dead doggie"! :P

That's funny Rosemarie. Border collies have always interested me, but I'd never keep up with keeping them busy enough to stay out of trouble. They're so smart.

Rosemarie,
The Border Collie is an amazing dog. At meets they just enjoy doing what is expected of them with that BC smile all the time. Their energy seem endless. I love to watch them run sheep. Woody has good taste in bandanas. I have the same one for dress up days in the desert--4 me!! The girls only wear fur. Their snobs ya know.
It is sooo funny--your description of the play dead is the only way Poppy or Lily will "die".
Lily at times takes three bangs to get her down but Poppy is easy I can just say click like an empty weapon and point the finger. Of course their pay is 1/2 of a small doggy treat. They only love me cause of my unlimited supply of goodies (all healthy of course  )

Foxy caught a phone number on the tag so's I modified it a bit. It has gone to Lily's head. Now she is pointing at me and saying bang in doggy language. I am tired of getting up and down all day long and those doggy treats----yuk! They have no taste at all.
Happy Day,
AZED
