I admit I'm very biased on this point. Have now experienced 3 times in my lifetime with at least 1 inch of snow on the ground Christmas day. And they all have been less than ideal.

Folks up north that are used to it, more power to you. Please keep it. I'll pass.

Had a Christmas Eve blizzard that dumped 14" of snow here. I really couldn't tell how much it snowed since it blew sideways and heavy the better part of the day.

The snow that should have fallen in the pasture north of us ended up blown up against the house and around the trees lining the drive way. Some drifts more than 4 foot deep.

Our family canceled the Christmas get together because most of us live in rural settings and were snowed in. It took about 2 1/2 hours of shoveling to get out of our drive and venture away from the house yesterday.
The dogs have sure enjoyed it though.

I prefer a nice warm beach and suntan lotion. Snow is not for me.

Oh, but look how happy your dogs were. :D It looks like they were having a blast! Hopefully your family will be able to get together once the snow melts, but in the meantime, try to enjoy it a little.

It has been cold all over the country this year. I wonder what the rest of the season will bring.

I will enjoy the snow after it's gone.

We are going to have Christmas on New Yeas Day.
