Yesterday was the first time I screened VC. I usually use the harvested VC as is, removing the stuff I think is not "done", judging by my untrained eye.
I used a plastic tray that has holes at the bottom, about 3/8". The smaller clumps went through and I was left with about 30% of bigger clumps. When I went over the smaller clumps, most of them broke up and looked fine. The bigger clumps are more paste like. Are they "not done" or just a bit too wet?

It's probably almost pure castings and perhaps a little too wet. Castings hold a LOT of water!

l2g, thanks for your comment.
I threw it on top of the bin. That wouldn't really help much, I think, except saving some space, having another container w. clumping VC. The family is already grumbling saying my worm "stuff" is taking up too much space  . At least I don't take up freezer space since I pre-rot the worm food in 3 gal buckets and they're sitting at the side of the house.
