Now that I'm brewing a gallon or two of AVCT every week, I have the "spent" vermicompost after the brewing to deal with. I'm following CB2's "recipe" of 8 oz of VC to a gallon of water. My original plan was to apply that to a plant or two out in the garden but I found myself having trouble deciding which plants were worthy of each tiny batch. I remembered that there has been some discussion here about worms seeming to like the spent VC back in their bins. I decided to give that a try. The worms LOVE the "spent" VC going into their bins. It must be chock-full of bacteria even after brewing. And it probably has some of the molasses sugars, too. Whatever the case, I've decided that my worm bins are getting the leftover vermicompost after I brew AVCT. That's kind of the ultimate in reuse and recycle, isn't it!

What do you guys do with your VC after you make AVCT?

I usually make 5 gal at a time. After brewing, most times I just spread the castings around in the garden, dump them on the grape vines or give my apple tree a special treat.

I usually will add mine back into the worms- they tear it up and I can use it again in the future.
