FINALLY, had some decent weather this past weekend. Decided it was time to harvest my large exterior bin and get it ready for the Spring season. Took me three full days to dig out the VC, hand screen everything through a rat-wire screen, dump all of the large unprocessed bedding back into the bin and restock the bin with food.

Had enough screened material to fill (3) 45 gallon totes and restock (3) flower beds for Spring plantings. Will rescreen the totes of VC later to get the castings for sale at the flower shows I'm hoping to get to this year. Thought I would have seen some of pumpkins I stocked the bin with last Winter, but the only thing left was the stem parts from the top of the pumpkins and the seeds.

I slept really well Sunday night and had only a few sore muscles to deal with Monday morning. Will be sure to reward all the worms for their hard work. Planning more than a few all-you-can-eat banquets in their honor in the next few months.

Hope everyone is doing well and that everybody will be able to get out and enjoy the warm weather.
