I've got one MacIntosh apple tree that's been fending for itself for the past 20 years. Every year the tree produces fruit but they are wormy in the animals feed on them.

What can I do to get some decent fruit next season? I know some sort of spray is needed along with some sort of fertilizer.

I plan on spending more time in NH now that I've retired, but I need some help in getting my thumb green.
