I've been taking my gardens temperature, It's still in the "hypo-thermic" state. 2" down it's 42 deg & 4" down its 38 degrees F.
I dug down about 10" (34 deg) & didn't find frost, so if we get some good sunny days, I should be able to roto-till soon.
I like 50 degrees & up at the 4" level before planting.
Is their any data for what temp needed to plant?
"Spring fever" in Alaska is worse than "cabin fever" for a gardener.
Good signs though: :), the dandilions are starting to grow :( and the trees are beginning to bud:) & mosquitoes are coming out.
I'M READY!
