<  Composting, Mulch, and Soils  ~  Screening compost

Check out the compost screening shaker I made.
The only down side is shoveling the compost into the top.
Vibrating sander vibrates the whole screen & the rocks & large clumps roll into the wheelbarrow.
Got the 2 year old pile uncovered, about 6" of the top was thawed. The rest of the pile behind the screened pile is frozen but the sun is thawing a little each day. Will cover at night to help it stay thawing..

I used 2" X 10"s,
1/2" X 1" screen.
Old sears vibrating sander
