In Zone 7, when can I safely remove Passiflora foliage? The root area has been heavily mulched with leaves over the winter. Should I wait until I see new growth from the root or can I take it now? The roses are starting to leaf out, daffodils are up 6 inches and I think our snows are over. Thanks for the help!

If any top growth is alive, you can leave it on. If it's Maypop, Passiflora incarnata, go ahead and cut it to the ground.

Thanks Dan. I took off the dead stuff and found a few green vines that survived the winter.
I appreciate the help!
