This is one my mom picked out last year. I like the 2 toned color of it. I'll have to see if she saved the name of it next time I'm at her house.

Ok, I finally remembered to look up the name. It's Ville de Lyon. The color is washed out because we were having some unseasonably warm weather when she gave me the flower and it had been open a few days.

ville de lyon always gets that lovely old world fade to the sepals, very lovely. the blooms hold up well in full sun and it is a late season repeat bloomer with a bastille day hair cut. one of my favorite clems.

That's a beautiful specimen! Hers is about to bloom again now, with no pruning.
