Haven't seen new blogs lately but anyway, quick question here. My clematis Bees Jubilee and Florida Sieboldii appear to have died. I did not see any sign of BJ at all this year and Sieboldii has dead stems all the way to the ground. Any advice? What could have I done wrong?

Have you knicked the stems anywhere to see if there's green underneath? You can also try gently rooting around near the base for good buds or new shoots trying to pop up.
