I picked about a gallon of tomatoes again. There are peppers still ripening too. I thought the tomatoes would get blight by now, after some cool, rainy weather, but so far they haven't. I planted them too late this year and didn't expect much out of them, but they've done well thanks to the warm Sept. we had. Our summer didn't get started much until August, so nobody expected much out of their gardens this year unless it consisted of mainly cool weather crops.

I have some volunteer kale that is growing well and I planted garlic. I'm thinking of planting some old lettuce seed to see if I can get anything out of it. I have hoops up, so I can cover the area with plastic to protect it from frost.
