Yes, I've started planting seeds to pots just a few days ago and I've placed them inside the greenhouse for the mean time. I'll just have to wait for my vegetables to sprout and I'll transplant them outside.

I've already killed my seedlings. :( Hopefully I can afford to buy started plants this year.

Do you think I have enough time to start over?

Depending on what you planted there should still be enough time. Last year we had a frost around May 10th so there are still about 4 weeks or so to start a couple transplants.

Also it depends on what you're starting.

I got off to a late start. but I have started most of my seeds. This year, I started a lot in a mini-greenhouse I bought online.

It has worked great, it is cheaply made and I lost a bunch of tomato seedling during a wind storm but I learned my lesson. I put (4) heavy rocks on the bottom shelf and will keep them there.

The biggest difference this year is I am soaking all of my seeds at least 24 hours in rain water before I plant them. I just feel it gives them a much better start.

I started mine a while ago. It started out as just a test to see which ones were still good and end up getting out of control. I had the mini greenhouse from last year and started it under lights and then I got that Jiffy pop thing with the ball and net and it was so hot out side I just put it out. It worked horrible. Had lots of sun and heat and nothing really came of it. Most of the cold stuff has been hardened off and is in the garden and of course it is a bit colder now so we will see. It is all a learning experience and a part of the 5 year plan. I direct seed many spring and summer stuff already too. More spring stuff than anything. I have given up on the Jiffy thing and next year will use toilet paper rolls instead of the stuff that came with it. Would not recommend it. I would use Rubbermaid totes with some sort of poly to let the light through. Don't think I need to but will buy a few plants when they are on close out. The other thing I think i might do is instead of doing so many plants in little container I will do less plants and bigger containers so I don't have to transplant. I am trying to figure out a way to make it easier.

I started some tomatoes and peppers last weekend.

Onions were direct sown in Oct:

I'll start more stuff over the next 2 months.
