Look at those beautiful eyes. Gopherus agassizii. The population west of the Colorado River are dieing out from a pulmunary infection introduced by some "kind" owner of some other tortoise. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

He even smiled for you in that 2nd shot. :D I like his shell pattern. Very nice shots, once again! Thanks for sharing your wildlife shots, I enjoy animals of all kinds and it's nice to see what lives in different states and countries.

The bald Eagles have come out to play in the sky above us a few times so far this spring. I just lay back and watch their acrobatics.
