Does anyone know how long ½ inch black poly tubing (it’s the standard brand that all garden vendors carry) will last in full sun? The co-op where I buy the tubing guessed at 15 years. Having used this in other areas for close to 15 years, it seems like it should hold up longer (more like 20 to 24 years) without splitting, cracking, or leaking. Does anyone have any comments on this? Thanks.

Alicia,
Here in Tucson the life of plastic pipe exposed to our sun is much less than that.
