I had a stalk of my oriental lilies fall out. Can I root it by sticking the stalk in water or won't it produce anything worthwhile?

Thanks
Jeanne

plant it right into the soil...bury the bottom end at least 1 1/2 inches and it should root. and, the original bulb should sprout new growth (maybe not until next year though).

That is just fantastic! I love the color of this flower so adding more to the bunch is great with me!

Thanks Joclyn.
